After an easy start to the season with not a single goal conceded, Liverpool got a bit too cocky against Leicester today. Although the Reds still won, the first goal conceded and a sloppy second half left fans with plenty to say on Twitter. The Anfield Talk’s Dale (@coldcoldgal) rounds up the best of the reaction…
Early doors Salah missed what appeared to be an easy shot just four minutes into the match, but Mané put one in the back of the net just six minutes later with an assist from Andy Robertson. Mané appeared to be back on form after a minor blip last weekend. A strong defense in the first half meant Alisson only had one real save in the first half and even then it seemed to be a handful for the Brazilian.
Sloppy would be the only way to describe the second half. A strong midfield from Leicester forced Klopp’s boys into making mistakes and this came to a head when Alisson conceded his first goal for Liverpool. The defense took a battering in the second half which also saw van Dijk get a yellow card.
Fans appear worried that Liverpool are becoming complacent whilst there are also questions about how well the current starting XI are holding up. Could it be time for a change of tactics?

Today just shows why Henderson Gini and Milner doesn’t work anymore. It did last season in an open game in CL matches.
But with Keita and Fabinho as options we should be playing at least one of them.

Sadio Mane is a better football player than Mohammed Salah. There I said it.
