Still undefeated, Liverpool’s victory over Huddersfield at John Smith’s Stadium had a lot of fans talking. Salah’s early goal was enough to clinch it but there’s growing fears that it won’t be in the future.
Before the game had even commenced there were fears for Klopp’s squad with a lack of Sadio Mane in the starting XI, as well as missing Firmino. Despite tactics that forced them to play longer from Huddersfield, Salah still managed a goal in the first half. He fired the ball across the goal with help from Shaqiri.
The second half was a more comfortable watch for Liverpool fans. It was undeniably sloppy from the top to the bottom end of the pitch, not one player was fully in the game. The defence seemed to be missing the synergy they had a few weeks ago, still working well but playing some threats a little too close for comfort.
Liverpool awful and lucky performance against Huddersfield 1-0 only goal scored by Mo Salah. Man thing is three points and conceded three goals in 9 games and kept three clean sheets.💪💪

We need some presence upfront. Having Sturridge and Firmino play upfront and constantly dropping deep works in games vs the tougher teams but there are games where we need someone up-top. Hopefully Solanke is back fit. Could use him there to offer us some pace & presence up top!

Sturridge was a good focal point for our attack but he took the term "hold up play" a bit too seriously, he slowed down virtually every attack that went through him.

HUD vs LFC
-Dejan Lovren and Van Dijk aren't compatible
-Joe Gomez at RB is a disaster
-Daniel Sturridge isn't the player he once was
-Shaqiri had a decent game
-Robertson is the best LB in the league
-Salah back with the goals
-James milner is a tank
-I love Becker

When Klopp signs a winger.. they'll never play as a winger again! Always brought to play more inside! Seen it with Mane Salah Ox & now Shaqiri.. adds another dimension to there game. Great management I think

I hate stats. They tend to make us forget that we are joint premier league leaders with man city.
Klopp is aware that our score margin is thin and he will fix that.
As far as we know him, he is known for developing a player from the root.(trent, joe, robbo, gini and now fabinho)

I know Lovren is a good defender but the bloke doesn’t fill me with confidence at all. I was so relaxed with Van Dijk & Gomez at the back. Wonder if Allison feels the same.
