Predicted XI: Wolves (H)

So it’s the last Premier League game of the season, and we are still in with a chance of winning the league. It also means, if I don’t get this right tonight then I won’t get one right all season.

Alisson: Brilliant against Barcelona in midweek, one amazing save keeping out Jordi Alba.

Alexander-Arnold: 2 assists on Wednesday and one of which showed confidence and maturity beyond his years.

Van Dijk: Messi will be hoping he never had to come up against our colossus anytime soon.

Matip: I originally thought that Gomez would stroke back into the team once he was fully fit. But Matip’s form means that’s not the case.

Robertson: Again Robertson was fantastic in midweek, the best left back in Europe is ours!

Fabinho: Fabinho was absolutely out of this world midweek, just as important as our defenders in keeping that clean sheet against Barcelona.

Henderson: After what I thought was a disappointing performance against Newcastle, Henderson really stood up against Barcelona and could easily be playing some of his best football in a Liverpool shirt.

Wijnaldum: Said he was on angry with the boss because he didn’t start against Barcelona, but what better way to prove your boss wrong.

Mané: He may not have got on the scoresheet against Barcelona, but he was fantastic. Has been one of our best performers of the season.

Origi: With Firmino still out injured and having scored two goals in midweek, surely Divock hast to start against Wolves.

Salah: Unfortunately due to injury missed out in our game with Barcelona. Made sure he was there though celebrating with his team mates. Could end up the day as golden boot winner and Premier League Champion.

That’s the team I think will take to the pitch today , do you agree with me? Tweet me at @ianyoungkop.
