Predicted XI: Cardiff (A)

Safely through to the semi final of the Chsmpions League and now 4 games to go for the rest of the league season. Here’s the team that The Anfield Talk’s Ian (@ianyoungkop) thinks will start at Cardiff today…

Alisson: Again, as in the game previously, caught what should’ve been caught and saved what should’ve been saved.

Alexander-Arnold: After just been voted on the short list for young player of the year, young Trent should be walking on air.

Van Dijk: The potential Premier League player of the year, will be hoping for a clean sheet today.

Matip: Hopefully the return to fitness of Joe Gomez and Dejan Lovren will Matip on his toes and in form.

Robertson: Hopefully him and Trent and get a couple of assists and a clean sheet.

Fabinho: Fabinho exudes confidence and calm, will need his cool head head for the business end of the league and Champions League.

Keita: With Wijnaldum still to me looking on the tired side, maybe Naby will get another run out today. Scored twice in his last two starts.

Henderson: The man seemingly with something to prove, will want to add to his collection of assists he’s been picking up lately.

Mané: Shortlisted for Player of the Year, and in the form of his life, hopefully he can pick up another goal or two in today’s game.

Firmino: Firmino is another player who looks to be hitting form just in time for the run in.

Salah: With the numbers he’s hit, it’s surprising that Mo wasn’t on the shortlist for player of the year this year. I guess some players are judged on higher standards to others, will feel he now has something to prove.

That’s the team I think will take to the pitch today , do you agree with me? Tweet me at @ianyoungkop.
