Predicted XI: Brighton (A)

After two defeats on the trot, it’s imperative that Liverpool get back to winning ways today against Brighton in the league.

Here’s the first XI I think Klopp will select for today’s match

Alisson : Hopefully Alisson will not be rested for another game this season. The drop off between him and Mignolet is unbelievable!

Alexander Arnold : Thought Trent struggled against City in the first half, but there’s a huge difference in quality between him and Rafa Camacho.

Fabinho : Personally I’d risk Hoever in Lovren’s position as I believe Fabinho needs to be starting as many games as possible in our midfield. I do think Klopp will choose Fabinho over Hoever.

Van Dijk : Virgil didn’t play against Wolves due to a “slight” knock. I’m sure I’m one of many who’ll be glad that our colossus is back in the centre of defence.

Robertson : I can’t see any reason when you need 3 points why you wouldn’t play the best left back in the league. Hopefully the boss will feel the same way!

Winjaldum : With Fabinho possibly playing at the back and Henderson carrying a knock, I’m assuming we’ll see Gini playing the holding role, he occupied at the beginning of the season.

Keita : Some people seem to be already writing Naby off! I still think he’ll come good, he just needs a decent run in his favoured central midfield position!

Shaqiri : Shaqiri could be huge for us today, if Brighton sit back, he has that killer pass that can unlock a defence!

Mane : Mane looks to me like a man that’s about to explode into form, if we can get an inform Mane for the rest of the season, god knows what we can achieve in the second half of the season.

Firmino : Bobby looks like he’s about to come into some form, and we certainly don’t want him on the bench if that comes into fruition!

Salah : Whether he’s played right or centre, Salah has proved he is no one season wonder! Goals and assists galore, he just can’t be stopped!

That’s the team I think will take to the pitch this afternoon, fo you agree with me, tweet me at @ianyoungkop.
