Predicted XI: Bournemouth (A)

After what was a tough away fixture against Burnley, (despite what the scoreline tells you) another thought fixture against Bournemouth has arrived. Here is who The Anfield Talk’s Ian (@ianyoungkop) thinks will start today’s match.

Alisson: It seems pundits are starting to stand up and take notice of our brilliant Brazilian goalkeeper, as plaudits are coming at him from directions after 2-3 games with a couple of world class saves and some excellent distribution.

Alexander-Arnold: Seems very close to reaching his fantastic form from last season. He’s improving his set pieces as well as crossing from open play. Seems to have taken great confidence from his performance and goal on international duty.

Matip: The injury to Joe Gomez is a blow for us all but opens the door of opportunity for someone else to step in, and seeing as Lovren is out with concussion, it’s up to Matip to take on the mantel.

van Dijk: What more can I say that hasn’t already been said. An absolute colossus, he’s now added assists to his game (2 in 2). Hopefully he can adjust to playing with Matip instead of Joe Gomez.

Robertson: Robertson, like Trent, seems to be finding his best form again, as he gets up and down that wing l. His crossing and shots are improving.

Fabinho: After an impressive derby debut I was puzzled about him being left out against Burnley but we went on to win so what do I know!

Winjaldum: Gini was out injured against Burnley and apart from that has mostly been an ever present, so I fully expect him to walk into the first XI .

Keïta: Naby impresssed everyone with his performance against Burnley and hopefully Klopp was equally impressed and gives him his second consecutive start for LFC.

Shaqiri: With Mané being out injured , Xherdan could be be given another start in the attacking positions , as he’s impressed not only creating chances but also getting on the scoresheet.

Salah: Although I prefer Salah out wide on the right for us , the boss definitely seems to prefer him centrally so unless we get another injury out wide I can’t see that changing anytime soon.

Firmino: Got a feeling we might see Bobby out wide today to cover Manes role unless he swaps positions with Mo. Any hoe I believe Mo, Bobby and Shaqiri are a formidable attacking trio anyway.
