Predicted XI: Bayern Munich (A)

It’s Champions League night tonight, and in general it brings the best out of LFC and it’s fans, unfortunately this season our away form in Europe has been terrible. Hopefully tonight we turn that form around. Here’s the starting lineup that The Anfield Talk’s Ian (@ianyoungkop) thinks Klopp will pick tonight…

Alisson: Now established as one of the best in our league, Alisson’s quality is unquestionable. His form is in a good place at the moment, even though I thought he could’ve done better on Burnley’s second at the weekend.

Trent Alexander-Arnold: After a fabulous display against Watford, Arnold was disappointing against Everton, but improved against Burnley.

Van Dijk: He will no doubt be disappointed with conceding two goal against Burnley, but he was still as good as he’s been all season.

Matip: Matip for me this season has established himself as second choice behind Gomez or Van Dijk. Matip’s biggest problem for us is being able to stay fit.

Robertson: Robertson is an absolute machine when it comes to energy and stamina. You’d struggle to find a better left back in Europe, never mind the Premier League.

Fabinho: Fabinho is pretty much one of the first names on the team sheet, he runs our midfield these days, he’s our Van Dijk in midfield.

Wijnaldum: Gini over the the last few games has looked tired and in need of a rest, don’t think he’ll get it tonight though with this being such a big game.

Henderson: I think this is the biggest decision of the evening, on who gets the nod, either Milner or Henderson. Milner has been disappointing for me the last few weeks, so I’d give the nod to Henderson.

Mané: I still think Mané is one of the most underrated players in the Premier League, and his importance to us is so vital!

Firmino: I think we haven’t seen the best of Bobby yet this season, so hopefully tonight it happens and we have him at his best for the run in.

Salah: Mo, like against Watford, against Burnley did everything but score. It’s either going to go one way for the him the rest of this season, his seasons either going to pitter out, or he’s going to explode into form. Hopefully the latter.
