LIVERPOOL CONTINUE THEIR WINNING WAYS.

The Reds are back after the international break and they are the business. Two first half goals from Mohamed Salah and some questionable defending from future Red Virgil Van Dijk gave Liverpool the lead going into half time, and Phil Coutinho sealed the game with his second half strike.

Up the Reds.

Simon Mignolet- 6/10
‪Barely had anything to do. Was slow coming for one or two and Albie Moreno let him know. ‬
Trent Alexander-Arnold- 7/10
Solid defensively and was good going forward. Dealt with Redmond well and was always an option.
Dejan Lovren- 7/10
Have to give him massive credit for that performance, against an away crowd giving him plenty of abuse and a home crowd that have also given their fair share. Had one opportunity to clatter Van Dijk and did it with aplomb.
Ragnar Klavan- 7/10
Was solid. Had little to do but did it well.
Alberto Moreno- 7/10
As with the rest of the back he was solid. Amazing the turnaround his Liverpool career has seen.
Georginio Wijnaldum- 6/10
Didn’t do loads but didn’t do much wrong.
Jordan Henderson- 9/10
The facilitator of everything good in the Liverpool side. Screened the defence well and set the tempo going forward, played some great long balls forward and allows the front three/five to do their thing.
Philippe Coutinho- 8/10
Don’t think he’s anything special prior to his goal, despite a few flashes. Takes his goal really well.
Mohamed Salah- 10/10
It’s quite clear that Mohamed Salah is the best footballer to have ever lived. Beautiful finish for the first and a great run for the second.
Roberto Firmino- 8/10
Does loads of good stuff that lets Mo Salah be the business. Doesn’t score twenty goals a season but probably helps other players get those goals.
Sadio Mané- 8/10
Was “quiet” by normal standards but was still impressive.

Substitutes
Emre Can- 6/10
Ran on the pitch and kicked someone over.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain- N/A
Ran onto the pitch.
James Milner- N/A
Also ran onto the pitch.

Virgil Van Dijk- 10/10
I don’t know what he’s doing for Salah’s second but it’s fucking wonderful.
