Ovid, New York, is a small village in Seneca County, New York. Its population was 602 as of the 2010 census. It was named after a clerk who was interested in classical literature. There are several places to visit in Ovid.

National Museum of Toys and Miniatures

The National Museum of Toys and Miniature in Ovid, New York, has a wide array of exhibits, including some that are interactive. The museum is filled with toys that are more than one hundred years old. Some of the oldest items include a talking doll from 1890 and the original Monopoly game from 1933. Other pieces are more recent, including the original 16 Hot Wheels cars.

The National Museum of Toys and Miniature is dedicated to educating children and adults about the history of toys, as well as preserving them. It contains the world’s largest collection of fine-scale miniatures and historic toys. These toys reflect history and explore the nature of play. The town also hosts many festivals and events, including the Ovid Pumpkinfest and the Seneca Lake Wine and Food Festival. The climate in the town is humid continental, with warm summers and cold winters.

The town is largely agricultural, with dairy farming as the primary industry. The Seneca Falls-Waterloo-Finger Lakes Trail passes through the town, providing access to a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities. The town is located in Seneca County and is easily accessible by car.

The owners, Ted and Molly, were looking for a refresh of their website, logo, and social media presence. They also wanted some help with the marketing and branding of the bed and breakfast. Not to mention the exquisite breakfasts!
