In the past couple of hours, we’ve been following a developing story from James Pearce, and that story is that Liverpool goalkeeper, Loris Karius is set for a move away from Anfield.
According to Pearce, the German is set for a move to the Turkish side, Besiktas, initially on a two year loan deal.
Besiktas have an obligation to purchase the 25-year-old at the end of the loan spell for a reported fee of £7.25m, this is only applicable if certain conditions are met, such as Besiktas qualifying for European competitions.
Loris Karius has been at the centre of attention at Liverpool for a while now, with it all culminating in a Champions League final horror show, gifting Real Madrid two of their three goals.
Karius made 19 appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool last season, the exact same as Simon Mignolet, who is now assumed to be staying at the club as backup to record-breaking signing, Alisson.
Karius will also sign a one-year extension with Liverpool should he not make his move a permanent one, this will see him return for the 2020/21 season.
