Young Liverpool goalkeeper, Kamil Grabara has joined Huddersfield Town in a season-long loan deal.
The Polish goalkeeper had spent last season on loan at Aarhus Gymnastikforening, where he made 16 domestic appearances. He also made six PL2 appearances for Liverpool before moving to the Danish side in January.
Jurgen Klopp will be hoping that Grabara will make some steps to being a first-team candidate this season. Huddersfield being relegated to the Championship last season opens up the door to the more playing time. Especially with their former keeper, Jonas Lossl, joining Everton this summer.
Kamil Grabara also signed a new long-term deal with Liverpool prior to moving to the Terriers.
There isn’t any information as to how long his new contract is. However, based on the wording “long-term”, it is safe to assume that he will be contracted at the club to at least 2023.
Grabara will look to prove that he belongs at Liverpool over the next 12 months with the goal of being able to step his level up again next season.
