After 2 weeks without seeing the reds on the pitch, it’s time for Premier League football again, and a huge game, as Spurs come to Anfield. The Anfield Talk’s Ian (@ianyoungkop) predicts the starting eleven Klopp will go with…
Alisson: After a mix up that conceded a goal against Fulham , hopefully our keeper will be his usual self.
Alexander-Arnold: Still believe some of our fan base don’t fully appreciate how good Trent actually is. Massively missed when he was injured.
Matip: He may not be Joe Gomez, but has debutised well for our young centre back.
Van Dijk: Made one of his first mistakes in a Liverpool shirt against Fulham, and suddenly every single supporter of other clubs were shouting he was overrated, rent free Virgil, in their heads.
Robertson: After a couple of dodgy performances, Robbo seems to be getting back to his best.
Fabinho: After a slow start against Fulham, Fabinho took the game by the scruff of the neck and took control, one of the first names on the team sheet for me now.
Winjaldum: Seems to have struggled of late in the red shirt, but less so in the orange of Holland. Hopefully his form for us will return for the final run in.
Lallana: Lallana seems to be getting the nod recently ahead of Keita Milner and Henderson . Can see him starting here here against Spurs. What he lacks in legs, he makes up for with intelligence.
Mané: Mané’s on fire at the moment and hopefully it continues. Let’s also hope his head isn’t turned by Real Madrid.
Firmino: I still don’t think we’ve seen the real Bobby on too many occasions this season, if he arrives for the end of season run in, perfect timing.
Salah: Salah seems to be carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders late, hopefully that weight is lifted soon and we get to see our Mo in full flow again.
That’s the team I think will take to the pitch todayu, do you agree with me? Tweet us at @theanfieldtalk.
