First XI Prediction : Paris St Germain

Liverpool have over the last 12 months have been making and breaking records, and are in danger are making another one this evening having never lost all of their 3 away Champions Leagues teams. Let’s hope we can come away from Paris with 3 points!

Here’s the XI I think the boss will go with against Paris St Germain.

Alisson : After making an important save at 0-0 against Watford at the weekend, Alisson looked much improved after a nervous looking couple of games. Have a feeling he’ll need to be at his best if Liverpool are to come away with anything tonight.

Gomez : Have a a feeling that Klopp may go with the more defensive right back tonight as he tries to keep Mbappe and Neymar as quiet as possible.

Lovren : With Gomez moving to right back, Lovren will be the obvious choice to come in. He’s not had many chances to impress this season, but who else is better to impress against than two of the best attackers in the world.

Van Dijk : When talking about the best in the world, Virgil Van Dijk’s name isn’t usually far away these days! Unless injured there is no way big Virgil doesn’t start to for Liverpool.

Robertson : Robertson seems to be getting back to his best over the last couple of games, and he’ll definitely need that type of form tonight if we are going to get the points tonight.

Henderson : With Henderson being suspended against Everton this coming weekend, I suspect, our club captain to start against Paris St Germain.

Winjaldum : With an impressive start to the season, I feel Gini’s performances have fell away away the last few games, but hopefully his early season form will return tonight.

Milner : I feel Klopp will go for a more conservative midfield, to try and stay solid for the majority of the game. With the likes of Shaqiri, and Keita on the bench, there’ll be room to change things if need be.

Mane : Can’t see the boss not starting with his favoured front three in this huge Champions League match. Mane will be looking to get his first goal since signing his contract extension.

Firmino : Bobby looked much improved on Saturday against Watford, but I still think he’s struggling with his new role, as well as suffering from a World Cup hangover.

Salah : Mo has looked increasingly like the Salah from last season in the last few games, and with his goal against Watford, there was a flash of the understanding from last season with Mane and Firmino. Hopefully tonight could be the night that the three finally click!
