Predicted XI: FC Porto (H)

I imagine after the 3-1 at St Mary’s on Friday night, our team and fans should be up for anything, especially for a Champions League quarter final! Here’s the lineup The Anfield Talk’s Ian (@ianyoungkop) thinks Klopp will select…

Alisson: Not going to lie, over the last 3-4 games, Alisson has had me a little on edge! Hopefully he returns to his unflappable self soon.

Alexander-Arnold: Defensively wasn’t great against Southampton, but Klopp saw this and reacted to it. People still forget he’s only 20.

Matip: Still solid defensively, but seems to be getting caught more and more in possession of the ball upfield.

Van Dijk: Strong, calm, exactly what you need in a quarter final of a Champions League.

Milner: Wouldn’t be surprised if we saw Moreno being selected, but have a feeling Klopp will go sensible and play our vice captain there.

Fabinho: First time in a while I’d seen Fabinho overwhelmed in a game in a long time was on Friday. Looked like he struggled with Southampton’s pace.

Wijnaldum: Again like Spurs, I thought Gini struggled against the Saints. Looks tired, I’d think this could be Wijnaldum’s ideal time for a rest, but I believe Klopp will play him every game.

Henderson: Made a huge difference when he came on against Southampton, looked like a man with something to prove, when Henderson’s in that sort of mood, he’s hard to play against.

Mané: Constantly a threat down that left wing, may need to help Milner our tonight, more than he usually has to help Robertson.

Firmino: Thought Bobby was great against Southampton, did everything but score.

Salah: Hopefully his superb goal , puts him back in the goals more regularly as the final run in arrives. Could be the difference in whether we lift trophies or don’t this season.

That’s the team I think will take to the pitch today , do you agree with me, tweet me at @ianyoungkop.
